About Us

General Terms

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all travel arrangements made with Tusigo. By booking or requesting a quote, the traveler (“Client”) agrees to these Terms. Tusigo acts as a licensed travel agency and, in many cases, as an intermediary between the traveler and airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and other service providers.

2. Pricing & Payment

All prices are per person based on double occupancy in standard room categories, valid for cash or single credit card payment at the time of booking. Rates apply to limited availability and/or selected travel periods. Prices in local currency are subject to daily exchange rate fluctuations, and the applicable rate at the time of final payment will be used.

A deposit may be required at the time of booking. Full payment deadlines will be provided at confirmation. Failure to pay in full by the due date may result in cancellation without refund.

3. Availability & Quote Validity

Prices, travel dates, and availability may change depending on seasonality, demand, and supplier updates. Quotes are valid only for the period stated in writing by Tusigo. To secure current prices and availability, we recommend completing booking and payment promptly.

4. Passenger Information

Travelers must provide accurate personal details exactly as they appear on their passports, including full name, date of birth, passport number, issue date, and expiry date. Any discrepancies or errors are the traveler’s responsibility, and any penalties or costs from airlines or other suppliers will be charged to the traveler.

5. Passport, Visa & Health Requirements

Travelers are solely responsible for ensuring they possess valid passports (with at least six months’ validity from the return date), visas, entry permits, and any other required documentation. Some countries require visas prior to departure, while others may issue visas on arrival. Travelers must verify the latest requirements directly with relevant embassies or consulates well in advance. Tusigo is not liable for costs, penalties, or disruptions caused by failure to secure the necessary documents.

Travelers must also check any vaccination or health requirements for their destination. Tusigo is not responsible for costs or disruptions resulting from failure to meet these requirements.

6. Security & Travel Advisories

Certain destinations may have security, political, or health risks. It is the traveler’s responsibility to review government-issued travel advisories before booking and departure. Tusigo will not be liable for disruptions, delays, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • 30 days or more before departure: Full refund, minus any non-refundable supplier charges, taxes, and fees.
  • 29–15 days before departure: 50% of the tour price is non-refundable.
  • 14 days or less before departure: 100% of the tour price is non-refundable.
  • If visas, travel insurance, or other services have been arranged before cancellation, these costs are non-refundable.
  • Date changes requested by the traveler will be treated as cancellations and subject to the same terms.
  • Eligible claims may be made through the traveler’s insurance provider where applicable.

These cancellation deadlines and charges apply unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of booking, or unless superseded by specific supplier terms (e.g., airlines, cruises, hotels) which will be communicated in advance.

8. Tusigo’s Right to Modify or Cancel

Tusigo reserves the right to cancel group tours if the minimum participation requirement is not met. In such cases, travelers will be notified at least 15 days before departure and a full refund will be provided.

Tusigo may also change itineraries, accommodation, transportation, or the order of visits when necessary, without altering the service standard.

9. Check-in & Check-out Times

Hotel check-in times are generally between 14:00–15:00, and check-out is between 10:00–12:00, in accordance with international standards. During special events such as trade fairs, conferences, concerts, or sports tournaments, hotels may be located further from the main destination than stated. Tusigo reserves the right to substitute hotels of the same category when required.

10. Dietary Requirements & Allergies

Any dietary restrictions, allergies, or special meal requests must be communicated at the time of booking. Tusigo will relay such requests to suppliers but cannot guarantee that all needs will be met in every destination.

11. Travel Insurance

Tusigo strongly recommends that all travelers have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and other potential travel risks. Some destinations require proof of insurance upon entry.

12. Force Majeure

Tusigo is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, pandemics, political instability, or airline schedule changes.

13. Tusigo as an Intermediary

Tusigo acts solely as an agent for the traveler in arranging services provided by third-party suppliers. Tusigo’s liability is limited to the arrangements it directly provides. For third-party services (e.g., airlines, hotels, transport companies), the supplier’s terms and conditions apply. In case of disputes, international conventions such as the Montreal Convention and Warsaw Convention (including the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955) shall apply.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where Tusigo is legally registered. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
